Founder Story
Jennifer Sirop
For over thirty years, I worked in trademark research and name development, managed research teams, and trained professionals. Along the way, I learned how differently words work across cultures. Working with leaders who speak other languages, I also saw how hard it can be to project your personality and authority in a second or even third language.
I founded Focused Fluency to teach the part of English that grammar books skip: how it sounds, and how it lands with the person listening. Years of managing international teams taught me to read the room, and I help my clients learn to do the same. With my Cambridge CELTA, I teach adults at every level, from the first words to confident conversation. I've taught adults in language academy, corporate, and one-on-one academic settings, and that hands-on experience shapes every program we build.
